You also have to add a Project Reference to your VB project so VB knows what to do with Domino COM statements.
From your menu, PROJECTS - REFERENCES. This will popup a window with a ton of choices. You are looking for: Lotus Domino Objects. Select it and click OK.
Now when you type your domino statements, you will get the popup-completion which tells you VB knows about Domino.
